Job description
The Manager, Property – Real Estate Services (MPL Site Operations) is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing the operation and maintenance of a small to medium-sized Major Property Location (MPL) site within Halliburton’s Real Estate Services function in Muscat, Oman. The role includes management of office, laboratory, manufacturing, and warehouse facilities across multiple buildings in a campus environment. The position is responsible for developing and executing expense budgets and capital plans for the site, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with operational requirements. The manager supervises a team of up to 20 technical and craft employees involved in facilities operations and maintenance and oversees outsourced service providers including food services, janitorial services, landscaping, and maintenance contractors. The role serves as the primary Real Estate Services contact for internal corporate, business unit, and shared services stakeholders, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational continuity. Responsibilities include managing facility operations, ensuring maintenance effectiveness, coordinating outsourced vendors, overseeing budget and capital expenditure planning, and maintaining service quality standards across all site functions. The position contributes directly to operational efficiency, cost control, and value creation for the organization while ensuring compliance with internal standards and service expectations in a large-scale industrial energy environment.

Experience & skills
- Undergraduate degree in business administration, architecture, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in property management including operations and maintenance of office and manufacturing facilities.
- Experience supervising technical and craft workforce teams.
- Experience managing outsourced facility services such as janitorial, landscaping, and food services.
- Strong budget development and capital planning experience.
- Experience in managing multi-building campus or industrial facility environments.
- Strong stakeholder and internal relations management skills.
- Ability to manage service delivery in corporate and industrial real estate environments.
- Leadership experience in facilities operations and vendor management.
