Job description
The Client Success Manager EMEA role within S&P Global Market Intelligence, part of the Risk & Valuations Services unit, is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert for Global Insight (GI) business intelligence solutions supporting applications including global risk and maritime, global international trade and supply chain, shipping intelligence, and economic indicators and forecasts. The role partners closely with the commercial sales organization to support new and recurring business by showcasing complex Market Intelligence platforms within defined business objectives and delivering tailored demonstrations and training to optimize client investment impact. The Client Success Manager develops a comprehensive understanding of customer workflows across industry segments such as corporates, transportation/logistics firms, financial institutions, governments, military and law enforcement agencies, academia and others, ensuring effective workflow optimization and customer support via telephone, email, and in-person engagement. The role drives product awareness and customer usage through structured presentation development, data analysis, and contextualization of current events, country risk, commodities, and energy trends. Operating in a global, results-oriented team environment, the position collaborates cross-functionally to manage client and prospect requests, channel product feedback, and enhance processes to improve customer requirements fulfillment. The role requires fluent English, with Arabic as a plus, occasional domestic and international business travel, and is exclusively for Saudi nationals. The position contributes to advancing essential intelligence by empowering enterprise organizations to make informed business decisions across maritime, international trade, transportation/logistics, supply chain, economics, and risk-related domains.

Key responsibilities
- Provide tailored demonstrations and end-user training sessions to showcase the value proposition of Global Insight business intelligence solutions, drive customer usage, increase product awareness, and support new and recurring business opportunities in partnership with the commercial sales organization
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of prospects’ and customers’ workflows across sectors including maritime, international trade, transportation/logistics, supply chain, financial institutions, governments and academia, and apply workflow optimization techniques to maximize the benefits of Market Intelligence platforms
- Deliver prompt and professional customer support via telephone, email and in-person interactions, assist in resolving workflow challenges, and ensure effective adoption of shipping intelligence, economic indicators, economic forecasting and country risk analysis solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product and support to manage client and prospect requests, channel structured feedback, enhance business intelligence solutions, and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
- Conduct data analysis and presentation development activities to simplify complex concepts, interpret intelligence outputs, contextualize business headlines, and enable decision makers and end users to apply insights to achieve defined business outcomes within specified deadlines
- Maintain organized stakeholder engagement by preparing for internal and external meetings, coordinating occasional domestic and international business travel, and proactively managing learning, professional development, and alignment with regional EMEA objectives
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in logistics, international trade, maritime management, business administration, economics, or comparable curriculum/work experience from an accredited university
- Demonstrate prior professional experience in one or more of the following areas: maritime, international trade, transportation/logistics, supply chain, economics, country risk, commodities, energy, customer care/support, project management and/or business development
- Exhibit strong capability in client demonstrations, end-user training, workflow optimization, data analysis, and presentation development with the ability to handle objection handling and simplify complex Market Intelligence concepts for diverse audiences
- Maintain fluent English proficiency with fluency in Arabic considered a plus, and demonstrate excellent client-facing communication skills across written and oral formats
- Show ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional global teams, manage multiple priorities, deliver results within defined deadlines, and support commercial success without direct quota responsibility
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, organized work practices, and willingness to undertake occasional domestic and/or international business travel while contributing to customer success and regional growth objectives
