Job description
The Translation Manager at Grant Thornton UAE (Internal Client Services) oversees the offshore translation team while actively performing Arabic and English translation, proofreading, and editing of business documents, proposals, reports, and client communications, ensuring highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and professionalism aligned with firm business needs and regulatory requirements. The role ensures consistency in terminology and style across all translated materials in line with the firmās brand and professional standards; works closely with internal teams in audit, tax, advisory, and legal to provide accurate and contextually appropriate translations; stays up to date with regulatory requirements and industry-specific terminology to ensure compliance and precision; develops and refines internal translation processes to improve efficiency and quality control; and provides guidance and training to junior translators or external vendors as needed. Required capabilities include proven experience as a translator within an audit or professional services firm, Arabic language proficiency with strong familiarity with UAE, KSA, and Gulf region business context, background in legal and financial translation including audit reports and financial documents, proficiency in Memoq translation software, and experience in Memoq project management including workflow coordination and terminology management. The position is based in Dubai, UAE, with a preferred contract type of Permanent and a joining date of Oct-2025.

- Prepare and oversee Memoq projects including workflow coordination and terminology management
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate proven experience as a translator within an audit or professional services firm
- Be an Arabic speaker with strong familiarity with UAE, KSA, and Gulf region business context
- Possess a background in legal and financial translation, including audit reports and financial documents
- Show proficiency in Memoq translation software and experience in Memoq project management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines within Internal Client Services
- Joining date of Oct-2025 and preferred contract type Permanent as specified for the role
