Job description
The Manager – Operational Readiness role at Qiddiya Investment Company is responsible for ensuring that all operational components of large-scale entertainment and leisure projects are fully prepared for successful launch and execution. The position focuses on strategizing, planning, and executing operational readiness initiatives aligned with organizational objectives and project timelines. The role works closely with project management, design, and HR teams to ensure operational requirements, staffing, training, processes, and performance measures are in place prior to launch. Responsibilities include conducting detailed operational readiness assessments, identifying gaps, designing mitigation strategies, implementing staff training programs, defining and monitoring KPIs, managing operational risks, and fostering a customer-focused culture to deliver world-class guest experiences across Qiddiya’s portfolio.

Key responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive operational readiness plans for new and existing projects aligned with organizational goals and delivery timelines
- Collaborate with project management, design, HR, and other departments to ensure operational requirements are met prior to launch
- Conduct detailed operational readiness assessments and identify gaps impacting service delivery
- Recommend and implement solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and launch preparedness
- Design, implement, and oversee staff training programs to support operational excellence
- Define, track, and monitor KPIs to assess operational readiness and performance
- Provide regular operational readiness updates and reports to senior management
- Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to support smooth project rollouts
- Embed customer-focused operational standards to ensure high-quality guest experiences
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operational management or operational readiness roles
- Demonstrated experience supporting complex project launches or large-scale operations
- Strong capability in KPI development, operational assessment, and risk mitigation
- Experience working cross-functionally with project, design, and HR teams
