Job description
The Arabic Pitches & Content Manager is responsible for leading and managing the production of pitches and marketing content in Arabic to raise profile and win work for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. The role focuses on generating high-quality pitches and marketing content in Arabic that enable the firm to achieve a more profitable return on investment, both financially and through enhanced client perception of Clyde & Co. The position supports the wider team and business by creating, maintaining, and improving Arabic pitch resources and marketing materials including directory submissions, credentials databases, pitch standard wording, case studies, and broader marketing content, as well as delivering training where needs are identified. The role involves reviewing RFP requirements to facilitate go/no-go discussions, developing appropriate pitch strategies, and managing the production and delivery of bids and tenders in partnership with partners, BD staff, and support teams such as design and translations. It requires full project management of each stage of the pitch process from receipt of RFP to submission of the final proposal, ensuring alignment with partner expectations and adherence to risk management processes and internal procedures. The manager coordinates debriefs on bid wins and losses, records management information on bids through InterAction and other pitch team management information systems, and contributes to regional and global projects to improve proposal efficiency and competitiveness. In addition, the role supports marketing and communications by creating and delivering key elements of the regional marketing and communications strategy aligned with MEA strategic growth priorities, coordinating Arabic assets for multichannel marketing campaigns, managing brochures and marketing materials, maintaining website, intranet, and social media content, and supporting client mailings via Vuture.

Key responsibilities
- Review RFP requirements to facilitate go/no-go discussions, develop appropriate pitch strategies, and manage the end-to-end production and delivery of bids and tenders in partnership with partners, BD staff, design, and translations teams.
- Lead full project management of each stage of the pitch process from receipt of RFP to submission of the final proposal, ensuring appropriate planning, alignment with partner expectations, and timely delivery under tight deadlines.
- Build rapport with partners, develop a detailed understanding of each pitch and partner expectations, ensure requests are executed accurately, keep teams informed of progress, and coach lawyers for beauty parades in conjunction with Client Development Managers.
- Oversee the management of rehearsals and the production of compelling presentation material, guide participants through presentation content and approach, and ensure presentation approach, structure of pitch documents, and pricing options reflect client feedback and best practice.
- Ensure adherence to the firm's risk management processes and internal procedures by identifying risks at an early stage and appraising partners and senior management of any potential risk to the business.
- Coordinate and conduct debriefs on bid wins and losses, gather feedback from clients and partners, record accurate management information on bids through InterAction and other pitch team management information systems, and disseminate learning to improve future proposals.
- Create, maintain, and improve pitch resources including credentials database, standard wording, case studies, legal directory submissions, awards submissions, and ensure relevant content is integrated into pitch resources while demonstrating understanding of the firm's products, services, and capabilities.
- Deliver key components of the regional marketing and communications strategy aligned to MEA strategic growth priorities, coordinate and develop Arabic assets for multichannel marketing campaigns, manage brochures and marketing materials, maintain website, intranet, and social media platforms, and support client mailings via Vuture.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate considerable experience as a BD Pitch practitioner at manager level within a fast-paced professional services environment, preferably within the legal industry, with knowledge of managing complex tender processes involving several information streams.
- Exhibit strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities within tight timescales, assimilate information quickly, and bring together cohesive documents from different sources of information under pressure.
- Show experience in applying client, practice, and sector strategies to individual proposals and demonstrate a track record of pitching to Government entities ideally in the Middle East.
- Demonstrate commercial thinking with the ability to understand potential client needs and business issues, grasp key aspects of the firm’s business proposition, and contribute to achieving a profitable return on services provided.
- Possess strong copy writing skills and a good understanding of branding and design in the production of bid responses, with experience working closely with a design team to develop compelling proposals and presentation materials.
- Show experience of preparing legal directory and awards submissions and integrating that content into broader pitch resources and credentials databases.
- Demonstrate strong IT skills with experience of CRM systems preferably InterAction, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint to manage bids, reporting, and marketing documentation effectively.
- Exhibit effective negotiation skills and the ability to work closely with partners and associates, influence key partners and decision makers, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all pitch and marketing outputs.
