Capital spend at Omantel runs into major network and technology investments, and the CAPEX team within Strategic Finance and Enablement decides how well that money is used. Sitting at head office, this finance partner works across business units, turning financial data into insights people can act on. Annual CAPEX budgets are prepared and monitored here, with spending controlled closely to prevent cost overruns. Investment proposals get detailed financial analysis and modelling that takes technical specification into account, along with ROI assessment and risk analysis. Forecasts and cash flow projections need to be accurate, and CAPEX performance metrics and investment returns are tracked over time. Governance matters too, so processes and decisions are documented in line with financial and regulatory requirements. Reports and presentations go directly to top management. Improvement is an ongoing part of the job, including proposing automations for CAPEX management processes. Expect to bring at least 7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, with strong financial modelling, variance analysis and telecom network knowledge.
