The Senior SOC Engineer (AI & Automation) at CPX in Abu Dhabi is a senior-level role within Information Technology Operations, focused on strengthening Security Operations Center capabilities through advanced AI/ML, backend engineering, and distributed systems. The role is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing AI-powered automation workflows, productionizing machine learning and generative AI solutions, and building scalable backend services to optimize incident response and SOC operational efficiency. The position leverages cloud-native technologies on Azure, DevOps practices, and MLOps tools to deliver secure, compliant deployments, including vector search, semantic search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. The Senior SOC Engineer develops and operates full-stack AI-driven solutions, scalable backend services and APIs, and distributed platforms with strong observability, while integrating AI technologies with existing SOC tools to orchestrate automated security workflows. The role also includes implementing responsible AI guardrails, security controls, data protection measures, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and performance monitoring. Collaboration with Product, Data Science, Data Engineering, Design, DevOps, and SRE teams is essential, alongside documentation, training, and mentoring of engineers within a cybersecurity domain.
