Job description

The Data & AI Consulting Manager role focuses on leading AI and digital transformation engagements in the Middle East, including AI and data strategy, operating models, roadmaps, analytics, machine learning, predictive modeling, data architecture, pipelines, modernization across platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Oracle), AI adoption, governance, and value realization. The role involves managing and mentoring teams of Data & AI consultants, driving business development and client relationships, contributing to thought leadership, and leveraging global AI platforms such as Heka.ai and SiaGPT. Candidates are expected to apply technical expertise to strategy, delivery, and growth initiatives for high-impact private and public sector projects, while fostering innovation, problem-solving, and organizational transformation in line with Sia's Consulting for Good and Sia Village values.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead client delivery across AI and digital transformation topics, including AI & Data strategy, operating models, roadmaps, analytics, machine learning, predictive modeling, and data modernization
- Manage and grow teams of Data & AI consultants by providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring
- Drive business development, including client relationship management, proposals, and technical sales
- Contribute to thought leadership and expand AI offerings leveraging global Sia platforms (Heka.ai, SiaGPT)
- Oversee AI adoption, governance, and value realization initiatives
- Ensure delivery excellence across strategy, implementation, and client engagement for high-impact projects
Experience & skills
- 8–12 years of experience in technology consulting with proven AI/ML delivery experience
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Prior experience in professional services, preferably Big 4 or leading consulting firm
- Data and AI delivery experience across UAE, KSA, or Qatar
- Strong client relationship management skills and stakeholder influence
- Ability to manage project teams and oversee delivery from strategy to execution
- Experience in business development, client engagement, and RFP/proposal processes
- Technical proficiency in cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Oracle), data transformation and analytics tools (ADF, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight), and applied AI/ML techniques (supervised/unsupervised learning, forecasting, econometrics)
