Job description
The Couriers Insurance Operation Manager at Keeta in Riyadh is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of insurance products for delivery riders across the Middle East. The role requires researching market practices, developing standardized insurance portfolios, negotiating group insurance terms with leading insurers, and establishing transparent claims and dispute resolution systems. Additionally, the manager will design and oversee a digital insurance service platform for policy management and claims tracking, building robust operational and monitoring systems. This position combines deep insurance expertise, data-driven insights, cross-cultural collaboration, and operational leadership to enhance rider security and satisfaction within the gig economy and food delivery sector.

Key responsibilities
- Research rider insurance practices across Middle Eastern food delivery markets to enhance platform protection systems.
- Design standardized insurance product portfolios tailored to regional delivery market characteristics and rider needs.
- Lead group insurance negotiations with top insurers to ensure policies serve riders’ interests and implement them with delivery partners.
- Optimize claims processes for simplicity, transparency, and compliance, including establishing disclosure and dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Develop a digital insurance service platform for one-stop policy management, claims tracking, and operational monitoring.
- Build robust operational and monitoring systems for insurance services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive multi-party insurance projects successfully.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5+ years in insurance product design or operations management.
- Practical experience in group insurance projects, including product design and pricing principles.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Strong data analysis and business insight capabilities to develop systematic solutions from research.
- Proven negotiation and partnership management skills with experience managing multi-party projects.
- Experience in internet platform or gig economy insurance operations, including digital platform development and operational systems.
- Ability to drive projects across diverse cultural contexts and teams.
