We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Director - Procurement (Del 420) to lead our procurement initiatives. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our procurement policies and practices, driving value through strategic sourcing and fostering strong supplier partnerships.

Key responsibilities
- Craft and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with Qiddiya's strategic objectives
- Oversee all aspects of procurement operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes from sourcing to delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to guarantee quality and timely delivery of services and materials
- Lead negotiations to secure advantageous contracts while prioritizing cost efficiency and value
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform procurement decisions and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and institutional procurement standards
- Foster collaboration between departments to accurately define procurement requirements
- Develop and mentor a high-performing procurement team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
- Provide detailed reports and analyses on procurement activities to senior management and stakeholders
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
- Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in procurement management, with a track record in the entertainment, real estate, or construction sectors
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective procurement strategies
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a strong network of industry contacts
- Adept analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and talent management
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
- Familiarity with procurement technology and software solutions
