Job description
The Senior Manager - Sponsorship Strategy (Marketing & Communications) at Visa will join the CEMEA Marketing team to shape and execute a regional sponsorship strategy aligning Visa’s brand, business, and commercial objectives across priority markets. The role requires expertise in sponsorship strategy, marketing strategy, brand consultancy, and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities include developing and evolving regional sponsorship strategies across verticals such as sports, music, fashion, and culture, ensuring alignment with local markets, identifying emerging opportunities, and managing talent and influencer strategies. The position demands building scalable frameworks for talent selection, usage, rights management, and performance measurement. The candidate will leverage internal and external data, using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI, to evaluate sponsorship performance, audience relevance, and business impact, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. The role involves crafting client-ready proposals that integrate audience, platform, and commercial data, supporting cobranded sponsorship proposals and activations, creating B2B narratives based on audience segmentation and market intelligence, and serving as a strategic consultant to internal stakeholders and clients. High-impact presentations using PowerPoint or Keynote will be delivered to leadership, clients, and partners. The position requires 8–10 years of experience in sponsorship, marketing strategy, or related fields, with strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, cross-cultural collaboration experience (especially in CEMEA), and an understanding of payments, financial services, or technology sectors. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.
