Job description
The Lead Talent Acquisition role in Qatar is responsible for leading and supervising organization-wide recruitment initiatives, developing integrated recruitment strategies aligned with workforce plans, and ensuring the effective delivery of end-to-end talent acquisition services. The role contributes to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of recruiting plans, strategies, policies, and procedures, while collaborating closely with the Talent Acquisition Director on annual budget development. The position oversees recruitment operations including job advertising, candidate sourcing, executive search coordination, agency management, CV screening, interviewing, offer management, onboarding, and employment formalities such as visas, police clearances, medical checks, travel, accommodation, and ERP staff number creation. The role represents Human Capital during interviews to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, manages recruitment documentation and reporting, analyzes exception cases requiring senior management approval, and generates regular talent acquisition reports. The position also drives continuous improvement in candidate onboarding experience, evaluates recruitment service providers, promotes the organizationās employer brand as a best place to work, and ensures compliance with HR best practices and internal governance standards.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies aligned with organizational workforce plans
- Review and continuously improve talent acquisition policies and procedures
- Lead and supervise organization-wide recruitment initiatives and integrated sourcing strategies
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Director to develop and manage the annual recruitment budget
- Set objectives for the Talent Acquisition team to improve performance and productivity
- Manage job advertising across internal and external platforms including websites and social media
- Coordinate participation in job fairs, exhibitions, and recruitment conferences
- Identify, evaluate, and manage executive search firms and recruitment agencies including performance reviews and contract payments
- Review and enhance the talent onboarding experience using best practices
- Screen, vet, and shortlist CVs and conduct initial candidate interviews
- Represent Human Capital in interviews to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Manage candidate selection, qualification verification, reference checks, and document collection
- Prepare offer proposals and issue official offer letters
- Supervise employment formalities including visas, clearances, travel, medicals, accommodation, and ERP staff number creation
- Oversee recruitment documentation, records, and statistical reporting
- Analyze recruitment exception requests requiring senior management approval
- Generate regular and ad-hoc talent acquisition reports for management
- Promote the organizationās reputation as a best place to work
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorās degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Masterās degree preferred
- Possess 6ā8 years of talent acquisition experience with exposure to broader HR functions and best practices
- Demonstrate strong planning, organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills with high discretion
- Demonstrate strong writing skills for reports and professional communications
- Arabic language proficiency considered an advantage
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Have working knowledge of HRIS and recruitment software
