Job description
The Technical Account Manager – OpenShift role at Red Hat sits within the Technical Services team and focuses on providing enterprise-level, relationship-driven technical support for a select group of key customers in Saudi Arabia. The role delivers hands-on technical and architectural guidance for the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, acting as a trusted advisor and primary technical point of contact. Beyond break-fix support, the TAM develops a deep understanding of each customer’s Red Hat implementation, business goals, and technical environment, proactively identifying risks, sharing best practices, and preventing service disruptions. The role involves close collaboration with Red Hat Engineering, Research and Development, Product Management, and Global Support teams to debug, test, and resolve complex issues. The TAM manages major incidents end-to-end, communicates clearly with customer stakeholders, advocates internally on behalf of customers, and aligns Red Hat’s cloud technologies strategy and roadmap with customer use cases. The position requires expertise in enterprise cloud platforms, OpenShift, Kubernetes, containers, IT automation, and cloud management, as well as the ability to travel regionally when needed while operating in a fully remote work arrangement.
