Job description
The HR Business Partner at Agility Logistics Parks is responsible for leading various HR functions and supervising the HR team to ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. The role involves overseeing recruitment processes, performance management, employee engagement, training and development initiatives, and maintaining accurate employee records. The HR Business Partner ensures compliance with labor laws and workplace health and safety regulations, provides guidance on HR policies, benefits, and procedures, monitors HR metrics, and delivers insights to senior management on workforce trends. The position requires hands-on experience with HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, recruitment tools, and Applicant Tracking Systems, with a focus on generalist HR functions within the logistics sector in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the daily activities of the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient HR operations
- Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
- Coordinate and manage performance management processes, guiding managers in conducting performance evaluations and facilitating employee development
- Oversee employee records maintenance, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Support training and development initiatives, identifying skills gaps and coordinating training programs
- Monitor and report on HR metrics, providing insights to senior management on workforce trends and issues
- Foster a positive work environment and mediate employee conflicts, promoting a culture of respect and collaboration
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace
Experience & skills
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, demonstrating a strong foundation in HR theory and practice
- Hold a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on generalist HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compliance
- Have prior supervisory experience in HR, with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team across multiple business units
- Possess HR professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent, reflecting knowledge of international HR standards and best practices
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Saudi labor laws, labor regulations, and employment practices, ensuring organizational compliance and risk mitigation
- Proficiency in HR management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, recruitment software, and Applicant Tracking Systems to support HR processes and reporting
- Strong analytical skills to interpret HR metrics, prepare reports, and advise senior management on workforce trends, capacity planning, and employee development needs
- Experience in managing employee engagement programs, training initiatives, and organizational development strategies to enhance workforce productivity and retention
- Capability to design, implement, and monitor HR policies, procedures, and processes that align with business objectives while promoting a positive work culture
- Ability to resolve employee conflicts, conduct investigations, and provide fair, compliant, and actionable recommendations in sensitive HR situations
- Knowledge of performance management frameworks, competency assessments, succession planning, and talent development strategies to support business growth
- Understanding of occupational health, safety, and welfare regulations, ensuring compliance in day-to-day HR operations and employee management
