Job description
Sephora Middle East seeks a Talent & Culture Director in Dubai (Date: SEP 16, 2025) to champion a people-first culture and oversee People Partnering, Learning & Development, and Employee Engagement across the Middle East. The Director will co-design and lead the implementation of the talent strategy aligned to Sephora’s Middle East business vision, foster a high-performance, inclusive culture, build future-ready organization and leaders, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while ensuring Sephora remains an employer of choice. The role includes leveraging people analytics to provide insights and influence decisions, building robust succession plans and talent pipelines, recruiting and securing expertise and leadership for key roles, and driving performance and development frameworks that enable growth, clarity, and accountability. It oversees the full employee lifecycle from attraction to offboarding, partners with business leaders to align people priorities with strategic goals, provides coaching and guidance to managers on performance, development, and change management, and nurtures relationships rooted in Sephora’s values. The Director builds a learning culture, designs and delivers leadership development, core skills, and impactful learning journeys, partners with global and regional teams to deploy LVMH and Sephora programs, designs local learning programs, and ensures L&D investments deliver measurable impact on engagement and performance. The mandate also leads the employee engagement strategy to drive belonging, commitment, and high performance; champions diversity, equity, and inclusion across every stage of the employee lifecycle; leverages employee feedback to shape action plans and deliver meaningful change; and acts as a culture ambassador so Sephora’s values are lived every day.

Experience & skills
- Be a seasoned HR leader with 10+ years of international experience in senior HR roles, preferably in retail, consumer, or dynamic, fast-paced industries
- Demonstrate a proven track record in talent and culture strategy and leadership development
- Possess strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategy to business priorities
- Be an inclusive leader with a passion for building diverse, high-performing teams
- Be a strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills, able to balance vision with action
- Be a skilled communicator and influencer with credibility across all organizational levels
- Be proactive, analytical, and solutions-oriented with strong change management experience
