The Relationship Specialist ā Commercial Banking at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) focuses on managing and enhancing client relationships within the Retail Banking Group. The role supports retail and micro-business customers through the delivery of conventional and Shariāah compliant banking products, expert advice, and digital solutions. Responsibilities include processing customer requests, responding to client needs, completing sales and service activities, and ensuring timely resolution of complaints. The specialist supports Relationship and Senior Relationship Managers by gathering client documentation and data to analyze financial health and market context. The role requires adherence to organizational policies, standard operating procedures, and service standards, while fostering long-term customer relationships and contributing to revenue generation. Key responsibilities
- Action customer requests and respond to client needs in a timely and effective manner
- Complete sales and service activities while supporting revenue generation and incentivized pay outcomes
- Ensure complaints are resolved promptly to maintain and strengthen long-term customer relationships
- Support Relationship and Senior Relationship Managers by collecting required client information and documentation
- Assist in analyzing clientsā financial health, industries, and market trends to inform strategic advice
- Adhere to organizational and departmental policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions
- Manage self in alignment with Bankās people management policies and practices
- Apply ADCB Service Standards to deliver exceptional service in all internal and external customer interactions
- Contribute to digital banking initiatives and support innovation in customer service delivery
- Engage effectively with internal stakeholders to coordinate client interactions and maintain service quality
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 4 yearsā experience in a commercial banking environment
- Bachelorās degree is mandatory
- Proficiency in commercial banking products, services, and processes
- Strong client relationship management skills with focus on long-term engagement
- Ability to analyze financial data and assess client needs accurately
- Competence in sales, service delivery, and complaint resolution
- Knowledge of Shariāah compliant banking practices is advantageous
- Capability to adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment and collaborate across teams
