Job description
This Manager role in BDO's Business Services Outsourcing team in Dubai owns a portfolio of client engagements and advisory relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to management and key client stakeholders. Delivering high quality outcomes that match client expectations sits at the center of the job, backed by engagement planning, resource management and delivery oversight. You'll review accounting and payroll engagements directly, while also identifying opportunities to expand services and strengthen existing client relationships. Leading, developing and mentoring high performing teams runs alongside governance, quality management and risk oversight, all within a firm that puts real weight behind mentorship and professional development. Efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives fall under this role too, supporting revenue, profitability and utilization objectives across the portfolio. Business development ownership means generating leads, expanding client relationships, spotting new opportunities and hitting growth targets, not just managing what already exists. Commercial and strategic thinking shape most of the decisions here, balanced against risk and business impact at every turn. Trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, and a genuine investment in developing future talent through coaching and feedback, round out what the role is really about.
