The Senior Finance Analyst at Amazon Payment Services (APS) will support Amazon’s Payment Experience and Cost of Payment initiatives across the MENA, ZA, and TR regions. The role requires ownership of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), development of short- and long-term financial models, variance analysis, and the delivery of insights into business performance. The analyst will partner with commercial and operational teams, aligning financial and operational analyses to drive informed decisions. Responsibilities include enhancing finance controllership, ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations, identifying cost optimization opportunities, managing strategic and financial projects, leading month-end close processes, and preparing senior-level reports. The role demands advanced data manipulation using SQL, automation of financial processes, and regular ad-hoc analyses. The position emphasizes cross-functional project leadership, tool/process improvement, and high-level data interpretation and visualization using tools like Tableau and Oracle. Candidates must bring strong analytical experience, project execution skills, and a background in finance, tax, or related quantitative roles, with a preference for Six Sigma Black Belts or MBA/CPA-certified individuals.
