Job description
Red Hat is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead strategic technical engagements within the Financial Services Industry (FSI) in Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, this role is central to Red Hatâs sales and customer success ecosystemâowning the technical vision and execution across the customer lifecycle. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Senior Solution Architect will collaborate with sales, delivery, and customer success teams to shape solutions that deliver business impact. You will engage deeply with enterprise clients, navigate regulatory landscapes, and tailor Red Hatâs open-source technology stack to complex banking environments. This position requires a strong blend of technical acumen, industry expertise, and consultative selling experience to build long-term partnerships and drive adoption.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the technical leader for assigned FSI accounts, understanding customer business goals and Red Hatâs role in supporting them
- Build trusted relationships with technical teams and executive stakeholders across customer organizations
- Collaborate with sales teams to remove technical blockers, tailor solutions, and ensure alignment with customer requirements
- Develop solution proposals, respond to RFPs, and conduct technical presentations and demos
- Lead technical sales conversations focused on Red Hatâs hybrid cloud, automation, DevOps, and container solutions
- Design innovative, scalable architectures that meet regulatory and business standards
- Drive customer success post-sale by ensuring seamless adoption, value realization, and solution expansion
- Manage customer feedback loops and act as a liaison between customers and Red Hat product teams
- Maintain awareness of Saudi Central Bank IT regulations and ensure solution compliance
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across delivery, platform, and support teams
- Regularly check in with customers to assess satisfaction and uncover upsell opportunities
- Provide detailed reporting on account health, technical performance, and solution impact
Experience & skills
- 8â12 years of experience in solution architecture, technical sales, or customer success roles within the FSI sector
- Deep understanding of Red Hatâs product portfolio and relevant open-source technologies
- Hands-on experience in hybrid cloud, containerization, DevOps, and platform engineering
- Experience working with banks in Saudi Arabia and navigating SAMA (Saudi Central Bank) IT regulations
- Proven ability to lead both technical discovery and delivery engagements
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated success in managing pre- and post-sales activities in complex enterprise environments
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration and building internal/external stakeholder trust
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities
- Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia based on project requirements
