Job description
Description": "The Power Platform Engineer role is a mid-level technology position within a Microsoft ecosystem focused on architecture, governance, and operational excellence of Power Platform solutions in an enterprise environment. The role is responsible for defining and implementing environment strategy across Development, UAT, and Production environments, ensuring structured lifecycle management and scalable architecture design. It involves establishing governance frameworks including policies, standards, naming conventions, and operating models to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable Power Platform usage across the organization. A key responsibility includes designing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies with a block-by-default security approach to enforce strong data protection and compliance standards. The role also leads connector governance, risk assessments, and exception management processes to ensure secure and controlled integration across systems. In addition, the engineer is responsible for AI and Copilot governance, including defining usage policies, access controls, and phased rollout strategies while monitoring adoption, usage, and associated risks. The position requires designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform applications, enabling structured Dev → UAT → Production deployment workflows with quality gates, automation, approvals, and rollback mechanisms. The role also includes platform operations responsibilities such as building dashboards for performance, usage, and capacity monitoring, as well as managing application lifecycle optimization by identifying redundant or unused assets. The engineer supports enterprise users through onboarding frameworks and best practices enablement. Additionally, the role includes Microsoft 365 engineering responsibilities covering administration of Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID, along with identity governance, application registrations, and access control management. The position operates within a hybrid work environment in Abu Dhabi and focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and efficient Power Platform solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise governance and security requirements.
