The Strategy Senior Manager ā Resources at Accenture plays a leading role in shaping, developing, and executing strategic transformation programs for clients across the resources sector, including oil & gas and chemicals. This senior consulting position requires a balance of strategic insight, analytical rigor, and leadership capability. The role involves partnering with C-suite executives to identify growth opportunities, improve operations, and navigate the complexities of transformation and digital disruption. The Strategy Senior Manager leads project teams through end-to-end delivery, provides high-impact advisory services, and contributes to expanding Accentureās practice through business development and thought leadership. The ideal candidate combines deep industry knowledge with an ability to think creatively, execute precisely, and build strong relationships at the executive level.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of strategic initiatives for clients in the resources sector, focusing on growth, transformation, and performance improvement
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, offering insights and innovative solutions to complex business challenges
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and with exceptional quality standards
- Manage and mentor consulting teams, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting professional growth
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term strategic engagements
- Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, and supporting practice growth
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments to inform strategy recommendations
- Lead financial and operational modeling to support strategic decision-making
- Drive operating model design and transformation initiatives for clients undergoing digital or organizational change
- Promote inclusion, sustainability, and innovation as core components of strategic engagements
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 13 years of consulting experience, preferably within the resources (oil & gas, chemicals) or related sectors
- Proven expertise in strategy formulation, operating model design, and business transformation
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and data-driven decision-making
- Deep understanding of the energy and resources industry dynamics and value creation levers
- Digitally fluent with an understanding of emerging technologies and their business applications
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing complex strategic projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Bachelorās degree required; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification strongly preferred
- Experience in sustainability, impact assessment, or digital transformation projects is advantageous
