Job description
The Director of Cost Reporting & Controls at Qiddiya Investment Company is a senior leadership role within Saudi Arabia’s entertainment and leisure development sector, responsible for overseeing end-to-end cost reporting processes and establishing robust financial control frameworks across large-scale projects. The role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial information by managing project cost reporting, developing financial risk controls, and standardizing reporting metrics across the organization. This position collaborates closely with finance, procurement, and project management teams to enhance cost control procedures, optimize operational efficiency, and foster a culture of financial accountability. The role includes providing analytical insights on cost performance metrics to support management decision-making, conducting regular compliance reviews and audits, and mentoring teams to build organizational capability in cost reporting and controls within a complex, multi-project environment.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee cost reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across all projects
- Develop and implement financial controls to monitor, manage, and minimize risks associated with project expenditures
- Analyze cost performance metrics and provide actionable insights to support management decision-making
- Standardize financial reporting formats and cost metrics to ensure consistency and comparability
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and project management teams to optimize cost control procedures and operational efficiency
- Conduct regular financial reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
- Train and mentor team members to strengthen organizational capability in cost reporting and control functions
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred
- Demonstrate a minimum of 15 years of experience in financial reporting and cost control within large projects or organizations
- Exhibit strong knowledge of cost management principles and project accounting methodologies
- Demonstrate proficiency in financial software tools and enterprise ERP systems
- Apply advanced analytical skills and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting
