Job description
The Income Auditor at Holiday Inn Kuwait Al Thuraya City is responsible for auditing daily revenues across all hotel outlets including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and other revenue centers. The role requires reconciling PMS and POS transactions, verifying discounts, voids, allowances, rebates, and complimentary transactions, ensuring correct revenue classification, preparing daily income audit reports, and investigating discrepancies. The position ensures compliance with internal controls, SOPs, audit requirements, and brand policies, while supporting month-end closing and assisting with internal and external audits. The auditor must maintain accuracy, integrity, and completeness of all hotel revenue with a high degree of attention to detail and professionalism.

Key responsibilities
- Audit and verify daily revenue from all hotel outlets including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and other revenue centers.
- Reconcile PMS and POS transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of postings.
- Review discounts, voids, allowances, rebates, and complimentary transactions for proper authorization.
- Ensure correct revenue classification and posting in accordance with hotel accounting standards.
- Prepare daily income audit reports, summaries, and variance analysis for Finance and Management review.
- Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with Front Office, F&B, Spa, and other departments to resolve issues promptly.
- Support month-end closing activities related to revenue and income accounts.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOPs, audit requirements, and brand policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and audit trails.
- Assist with internal and external audits as required.
Experience & skills
- Proven experience as an Income Auditor or Night Auditor in a four- or five-star hotel environment.
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue streams, internal controls, and audit procedures.
- Experience with PMS and POS systems such as Opera and Micros.
- High level of accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language advantageous.
- Strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
