Job description
Transguard Group is hiring an Engineer – Facilities Management to support its FM team in Dubai. The role involves assisting the Facilities Manager in day-to-day operational management of facility services, ensuring buildings are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance, coordinating with vendors and contractors, managing SLA/KPI compliance, supporting energy management projects, and ensuring adherence to safety and procurement policies. The role requires strong technical expertise, effective vendor and staff management, and the ability to deliver cost-effective, innovative solutions that enhance client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
- Assist to prepare monthly reports with operational data to support contract performance reviews.
- Ensure FM services are delivered as per agreed manpower resources.
- Identify and record continuous improvement initiatives for cost savings or process efficiency.
- Manage service delivery performance and ensure SLA/KPIs compliance.
- Support client objectives by presenting initiatives in line with business goals.
- Work with supervisors to design and deliver staff induction and training programs.
- Monitor and maintain service level agreements, resolving and escalating issues as needed.
- Procure materials, services, and projects in coordination with procurement team.
- Manage specialist services contractors/vendors within scope.
- Monitor and report staff attendance, leave, and adherence to company policies.
- Liaise regularly with clients to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
- Undertake site visits to review staff performance and resolve client concerns.
- Manage contract service delivery per best practices, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Oversee equipment and machinery orders for projects.
- Conduct monthly account reviews with Line Manager.
- Monitor resource utilization to align with contract requirements.
- Prepare monthly staff meetings and daily/weekly team briefings.
- Ensure timely invoicing with Admin and Finance Teams.
- Execute energy management projects and identify improvement opportunities.
- Introduce and integrate latest technology, preparing business proposals with ROI models.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Certifications preferred: IOSH, NEBOSH, CFM.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in service delivery of structured contracts with SLA/KPI frameworks.
- Knowledge of CAFM systems with effective implementation of full modules.
- Valid driving license.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and report writing.
- Ability to manage ad-hoc and fit out projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
