Job description
Containers arriving at Alghanim Industries' Kuwait warehouse set much of the rhythm here, starting with notifications from the clearance team that become advance shipping notifications. Once stock lands, Goods receipt vouchers are printed, put-away lists created, and ASNs updated with bin locations, movable units and quantities received. A Stock Receipt Confirmation then goes to the buyer, flagging any shortages, excess or damage. Outbound work covers transfer orders, customer picking, Driver's Job printing and Post goods issue. Customer and showroom returns need clearing, and pending stock transfers and put-aways have to be followed up until system variances are resolved. SAP is the main tool, used to build stock reports, picking and put-away checks and an Inbound Shipping Schedule. Monthly KPI reports track Service Standards for inbound containers, and minor network hardware and software issues may need troubleshooting. One to three years in a similar role within high-volume distribution operations is required, along with a high school certificate at minimum, with a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
