The Senior Manager - Design at Max Fashion, UAE, is responsible for leading and managing the design function within the brand, part of the Landmark Group. This role oversees the development of clothing and accessory ranges for women, men, and children, including footwear, toys, and home décor. The position ensures alignment of in-house design with brand identity and customer expectations across the GCC, Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and Africa. The Senior Manager drives creativity, innovation, and trend-conscious design practices while integrating the brand's Omni-Channel retail strategy. Responsibilities include leading a design team, fostering an inclusive and dynamic work environment, managing design workflows, conceptualizing new fashion lines, implementing creative strategies, coordinating with merchandising and marketing teams, and ensuring product ranges meet market trends, style standards, and customer preferences. The role emphasizes continuous learning, innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic leadership to enhance customer experience and strengthen Max Fashion's brand presence in the competitive retail landscape.

- Lead and manage the in-house design team to develop innovative and trend-conscious clothing and accessory collections for women, men, and children, including footwear, toys, and home décor.
- Oversee the concept development process for new product lines, ensuring alignment with brand identity, market trends, and customer preferences across the GCC, Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and Africa.
- Drive creative direction and innovation within the design team, fostering an inclusive, dynamic, and collaborative work environment that encourages continuous learning and idea generation.
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and Omni-Channel teams to integrate design strategies with store presentation, online platforms, and customer experience initiatives.
- Ensure the quality, style consistency, and visual appeal of all product ranges, coordinating design workflows and maintaining alignment with brand standards and commercial objectives.
- Implement design strategies that enhance brand identity, market positioning, and customer engagement while optimizing design operations for efficiency and scalability.
- Analyze fashion trends, customer insights, and market data to inform design decisions, ensuring products meet customer needs, retail expectations, and competitive positioning.
- Mentor, guide, and develop design team members, promoting professional growth, skill development, and high performance in line with the organization's values and objectives.
Experience & skills
- Proven experience in fashion and apparel design with expertise in concept development, creative direction, and product range management for women, men, and children.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire creativity, foster innovation, and maintain high performance within an in-house design team.
- Experience in Omni-Channel retail design, integrating physical store and digital platforms to deliver cohesive brand and customer experiences.
- Proficiency in visual merchandising, trend analysis, and design workflow optimization to ensure consistency, quality, and brand alignment across all product lines.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, marketing, and operations to implement design strategies and enhance customer experience.
