Job description
Emsteel runs Financial Planning and Controlling across multiple group entities and sites, and this Senior Analyst role helps develop and implement the strategies, policies and procedures that keep it consistent. MIS reporting, financial planning and control processes all need enhancing here, alongside the day to day record keeping of daily, weekly and monthly management reports and periodic submissions to LIMAD and other external agencies. You'll help implement financial planning and internal control systems at new Emsteel sites, design automated procedures for LIMAD reporting, and run inter plant comparative analysis of cost, efficiency and other KPIs. Cost centres across every department get reviewed regularly, with support given to cost centre owners on expenses and budgets, while pricing and margin calculations stay under strict version control. Weekly and Monthly Management Report presentations, the Monthly Steel Performance Report and the annual business plan all come together through this role, along with five year plans and financial models. Consolidation and group reporting to LIMAD and the Board of Directors sits here too, backed by financial outlooks and forecasts that stay compliant with local, state and federal budgetary requirements. The Value+ Transformation Programme relies on this role for sustainable annual EBITDA enhancement, and sales, commercial and procurement teams call on it for margin calculations and back to back billet pricing on short term supplier contracts. Safety, quality and environmental compliance runs through every part of the job, alongside a steady focus on using SAP S4Hana, Excel and PowerPoint to keep reporting accurate and on time.
