- Establish and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) for accurate project tracking
- Conduct earned value management analysis to monitor performance, cost, and schedule variances

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, procurement, and construction—to align schedules with project execution plans
- Provide regular project reporting, dashboards, and variance analysis for internal and client stakeholders
- Lead or support change control and risk analysis activities, assessing schedule impacts and developing mitigation plans
- Mentor and guide junior planners, fostering continuous learning and process improvement
- Participate in project audits, site visits, and review meetings to ensure compliance with planning standards and HSSE requirements
- Contribute to the development of planning tools, templates, and methodologies for improved project control
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical or business field (equivalent experience may be considered)
- Minimum of 13 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling, ideally in site-based roles within oil & gas, energy, or industrial projects
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera (P6) and related scheduling software
- Strong knowledge of project execution procedures, planning methodologies, and cross-functional coordination
- Hands-on experience with WBS/CBS structures, earned value management, and variance analysis
- Ability to manage complex schedules, perform critical path analysis, and handle multiple project interfaces
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and mentor junior staff while maintaining alignment with project and company objectives
- Familiarity with HSSE and quality standards relevant to industrial and oil & gas environments
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary project settings
