Job description
A high-performing Risk & Regulatory Affairs consulting capability for the Wealth & Asset Management sector across the Middle East is what this Associate Director role is built to grow. You lead complex client engagements spanning regulatory transformation, risk management, governance, compliance, conduct risk, operational resilience and enterprise-wide risk frameworks for asset managers, private banks, wealth platforms, family offices and sovereign wealth institutions. Trusted advisory work with C-suite and board-level clients runs alongside engagement origination, delivery team management and contributions to the strategic build-out of the WAM practice. New engagements get originated across private wealth, institutional asset management, family offices, sovereign wealth funds and digital wealth platforms, with a qualified pipeline built through the Partner group and personal networks across the GCC and MENA. Thought leadership, proposals and point of view content get developed to differentiate the firm's WAM proposition, and strategic alliances such as Blackrock Alladin and State Street Alpha get managed and grown. Large scale engagements run across enterprise risk management, operational risk, compliance, conduct risk, third-party risk, model risk, investment governance and financial crime compliance, responding to regulatory change from ADGM, DIFC, SCA, CMA, QCB and other GCC authorities. Risk assessments, gap analyses, remediation programs and target operating model designs get led directly, with quality assurance, client satisfaction and project economics overseen across every engagement. Consulting talent within the WAM practice gets recruited, developed and retained, and the firm's profile gets built through industry events, published insights and regional thought leadership.
