Job description
The Senior Project Planner at Mott MacDonald (Buildings market; Infrastructure and Building Services disciplines) is responsible for overall control of the project schedule and the development and monitoring of all planning/scheduling work to ensure compliance with the contract and the master schedule. The role integrates schedule requirements and constraints to establish work sequences across disciplines; reviews and assesses sequences against the developed and agreed project plan; establishes and implements methods for determining activity schedules within the project team; develops quantity release and/or installation curves; reviews and approves invoice verification for payment based on cost-loaded schedules; reviews schedule data to identify and acquire information needed to complete work logics and interfaces between project teams; determines critical-path activities for project milestones; identifies significant support for all milestones and develops critical paths for each project team and activity; monitors schedule deviations, including subcontractor submittals, and recommends corrective actions/work-arounds; prepares schedule commentary for progress reports; clarifies activities with critical schedule impact and prepares critical items action reports; and oversees all work carried out by project teams and contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and contract. Candidate specifications include a Bachelorās Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with certification in planning/scheduling and Primavera applications; experience in planning, scheduling, and cost engineering in the UAE; experience working on large Data Centres projects in the region; and extensive knowledge and experience in project planning, budgeting, cost phasing, and control from initiation to close-out using computer-based systems (Primavera P6).

Experience & skills
- Bachelorās Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with certification in planning and scheduling of projects and in using Primavera applications
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and cost engineering in the UAE
- Experience working on large Data Centres projects in the region
- Extensive knowledge and experience in project planning, budgeting, cost phasing, and control from project initiation to close-out
- Proficiency with computer-based systems, specifically Primavera Project Management P6
