Job description
The Technician – Engineering (Hospitality Facilities & Marina Systems) role at Zabeel House The Greens by Jumeirah is responsible for controlling, maintaining, and ensuring the correct operation of a wide range of technical and engineering systems within a luxury hospitality and marina environment. The position covers sewage and water systems, electrical power systems, buildings, roads, pontoons, pedestals, lighting systems, pump-out systems, access gates, fire protection systems, and all related equipment. The role ensures the proper functioning of forced circulation of seawater systems, sanitary facilities, substations, pump stations, sewage cleaners, water tanks, parking areas, coastlines, piers, mounting systems, and prefabricated facilities. Responsibilities also include organizing the disposal of dangerous waste through authorized companies, coordinating external maintenance services for marina infrastructure beyond in-house capabilities, supporting the marina manager in preparing technical department maintenance budgets, checking all marina safety equipment and systems, and archiving all project and technical documentation required for investment and maintenance purposes. The role operates within the luxury hospitality environment of Jumeirah Zabeel House The Greens, a lifestyle hotel offering guest rooms, coworking spaces, wellness facilities, rooftop pool, and multiple restaurant outlets.

Key responsibilities
- Control and maintain all technical elements including sewage systems, water systems, electrical power systems, buildings, roads, pontoons, pedestals, lighting systems, pump out systems, access gates, fire protection systems, and associated equipment
- Ensure the correctness and functionality of forced circulation of seawater systems, sanitary facilities, substations, pump stations, sewage cleaners, water tanks, parking areas, coasts, piers, mounting systems, and prefabricated facilities
- Organize the disposal of dangerous waste through authorized external companies in compliance with applicable requirements
- Coordinate and organize external maintenance services for marina infrastructure that cannot be handled by internal employees
- Support the marina manager in the preparation of maintenance budgets for the technical department
- Inspect and verify the condition and readiness of all marina safety equipment and safety systems
- Archive and maintain project and technical documentation required for investments, audits, and ongoing maintenance activities
Experience & skills
- Hold a High School Graduate qualification as the minimum educational requirement
- Possess at least 1 year of experience working within a technical or engineering department
- Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Have hands-on exposure to technical maintenance of electrical, water, sewage, and safety systems within hospitality or marina environments
- Be capable of supporting technical documentation management, safety inspections, and coordination of external maintenance services
