Operational risk inside Group Business Services (GBS) at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) needs independent eyes, and this Dubai-based manager provides them for assigned areas. Internal risk assessments and policy frameworks with key result indicators are implemented so risks are captured, monitored and mitigated. The risk and control self-assessment programme runs under your oversight, including control testing and deployment in line with Operational Risk policies. Due diligence reviews and challenge sessions test how well processes and controls hold up. Operational losses are reported, booked and tracked in consultation with GORM. Business continuity is a major thread too, with the GBS BCM framework covering impact assessments, recovery sites and disaster drills. A small team works under your supervision toward targets and the business plan. Six years in operations or banking services, including 3 in risk management, is required, along with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting or similar. The post is a 3-year fixed term contract with flexible working options.
