Job description
The PMO Analyst in Corporate Services (Blue Rewards) at Al-Futtaim supports key Enterprise IT portfolio initiatives from initiation through delivery and implementation, ensuring governance and controls are implemented and monitored effectively. Working directly with project managers and business solution managersâespecially on large projectsâthe role contributes to quality reviews, coordinates activities to support quality objectives, evolves processes and templates across the lifecycle, rescues projects when required, and measures business benefit delivery against approved business cases. Core scope includes developing the IT Project Standards guide by gathering input from stakeholders; managing the delivery of small to medium-sized IT projects on time and on budget; supporting large-scale group and transformational programs to maintain aligned plans; building and maintaining a repository of processes and templates to capture best practices; implementing governance standards across the portfolio with status tracking and deliverables monitoring; ensuring accurate financial controls for tracking, monitoring, forecasting, and budgeting of project expenditures; compiling project metrics to assess success and process adherence; maintaining a Lessons Learned repository from Post Project Reviews; identifying and managing cross-functional risks; conducting audits and quality checks at key intervals and post-project; handling project launch timings and approvals with accurate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reporting; conducting Project Completion Reviews and maintaining a Process Compliance Index; supporting businesses on PMIS (Workfront) and other tools; aiding resource management and ensuring control systems integrate essential data; coordinating regular reporting cycles and governance arrangements; performing project financial reviews and postings; and verifying monthly vendor invoices, revenue recognition, and divisional profit and loss postings. The role requires advanced use of project management methods and tools (including Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel), strong communication and interpersonal skills, rigorous financial control and governance capabilities, and experience compiling metrics related to project success and process adherence.

- Manage delivery of small to medium-sized IT projects to ensure on-time completion and adherence to budget.

- Build and maintain a repository of project processes and templates to identify and disseminate best practices.
- Measure business benefits delivery against agreed business cases and report outcomes.
- Implement governance standards across the portfolio, including status tracking and deliverables monitoring.
- Ensure accurate financial controls for tracking, monitoring, forecasting, and budgeting of project expenditures.
- Compile project metrics to assess project success and adherence to defined processes.
- Manage a Lessons Learned repository from Post Project Review meetings and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and manage cross-functional risks related to project delivery and escalate as needed.
- Conduct audits and quality checks at key project intervals and after project completion.
- Perform project launch timings and approvals, ensuring accurate TCO reporting.
- Conduct Project Completion Reviews and maintain a Process Compliance Index for project managers.
- Support PMIS (Workfront) usage across businesses and assist with other project management tools.
- Aid Enterprise IT in resource management and ensure project control systems integrate essential data.
- Coordinate regular project and program-level reporting cycles and governance arrangements.
- Perform project financial reviews and manage postings, verify monthly vendor invoices, and ensure revenue recognition and P&L divisional postings.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Project Management certification or completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
- 7â10 years of IT experience with at least 2 years in a mediumâlarge Project Management Office.
- Experience managing small projects or substantial portions of project lifecycles, with familiarity in project management tools and techniques.
- Advanced proficiency with project management methods and tools and Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engagement across organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial controls and governance standards with strong analytical skills.
- Experience compiling and reporting metrics related to project success and process adherence.
