"Description": "Honeywell is seeking a Senior Program Specialist to lead the execution of smart city and extra-low voltage (ELV) projects in Doha, Qatar. This on-site role is responsible for managing large-scale projects involving smart city platforms, IoT integrations, and multiple ELV subsystems such as security, building management systems (BMS), and fire alarm systems (FAS). The Senior Program Specialist will serve as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination, technical accuracy, and timely delivery. The position requires early engagement with sales and estimation teams during bidding and handover phases, as well as the ability to develop comprehensive project management plans covering scope, schedule, cost, risk, and procurement. The incumbent will execute and monitor projects using best-in-class methodologies, ensuring delivery within budget and scope, while managing financial performance metrics such as margins, revenue recognition, invoicing, and cash flow. The role also involves active liaison with vendors, internal teams, and contract departments to ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation. Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of smart city solutions, IoT frameworks, software integration methodologies, and ELV systems, combined with advanced project management capabilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience managing complex technology-driven projects, preferably in the domains of smart infrastructure and automation, and will hold or be eligible for PMP certification.
