"Description": "Mace is seeking an Environmental and Sustainability Manager for a major mixed-use development project in Riyadh. This role ensures compliance with environmental laws, client standards, and sustainability certifications, while leading integrated teams and supporting large-scale infrastructure, sports, and entertainment projects.

Sustainability Certification (LEED, Mostadam)
Environmental & Sustainability Reporting (CESMP C, SMP)
Auditing, Inspections, Spot Checks (Air Quality, Noise, etc.)
Non-compliance Tracking and Incident Management
Training and Awareness Delivery
Regulatory and Certification Support (NCEC, QIC ESG, Third-party Assessors)
Project Coordination and Contractor Oversight
Stakeholder Engagement
Key responsibilities
- Ensure contractor compliance with KSA Environmental Law, client standards, and sustainability frameworks.
- Review and approve CESMP C, SMP, environmental and sustainability reports, and material submittals.
- Conduct and document audits, inspections, monitoring, and spot checks (e.g., air quality, noise).
- Track and close out environmental and sustainability non-compliances, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Deliver training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions on environmental and sustainability requirements.
- Attend contractor progress meetings and support regulatory and certification inspections (NCEC, QIC ESG, third-party assessors).
Experience & skills
- Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in environmental management and sustainability.
- Proven experience on at least two LEED-certified projects or equivalent sustainability certifications.
- Membership in professional bodies such as IEMA or ISEP preferred.
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws and sustainability certification processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects.
