A leading financial institution in Khobar is hiring a Procurement Specialist to optimize procurement activities and support cost-effective and compliant sourcing. The role requires a commercially aware, detail-oriented professional who can develop strategies, evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure the seamless procurement of goods and services. Candidates should be adept at identifying savings opportunities, managing risks, maintaining documentation, and driving automation for process efficiency.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for cost-effective and timely procurement of goods and services.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and manage ongoing vendor relationships.
- Monitor market trends and use tools such as SWOT and Kraljic matrix for analysis.
- Collaborate with internal departments to assess procurement needs and ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation including contracts and purchase orders.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational procurement policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks such as price volatility and vendor non-compliance.
- Enhance procurement processes through automation and digital tools.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, or Business (preferred).
- 1ā2 years of experience in procurement or supplier management.
- Familiarity with interpreting and negotiating contracts and understanding commercial supply data.
- CIPS certification or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and commercial awareness.
- Knowledge of procurement compliance and regulatory standards.
- Experience with procurement systems and automation tools.
