Job description
The Manager β BCG Vantage, Implementation (Transformation) role at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Riyadh is part of the BCG Transform Practice Area under the Client Focus path. The role is centered on delivering long-tail implementation and transformation programs that translate strategic ambition into measurable business results. The Manager works closely with senior client stakeholders and BCG case teams to ensure disciplined execution of strategic initiatives, activation of target operating models, and realization of financial and operational value. This position requires strong analytical and financial acumen, structured problem-solving, and the ability to manage complex workstreams within transformation programs. The role also involves codifying knowledge assets, contributing to proposals, mentoring junior colleagues, and traveling to client sites to support implementation efforts. Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead key workstreams within transformation and implementation programs, ensuring strategies are executed in line with defined objectives and value targets.
- Translate high-level business strategies into actionable implementation roadmaps, initiative charters, and measurable KPIs.
- Support the activation of organizational design strategies and target operating models, including governance structures, processes, and performance mechanisms.
- Drive disciplined program management activities such as initiative prioritization, milestone tracking, risk mitigation, and value realization monitoring.
- Develop robust business cases and conduct financial analysis to assess trade-offs and support investment decisions.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement grounded in operational and financial impact.
- Engage credibly with senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops, steering committees, and progress reviews.
- Embed change management initiatives to support behavioral shifts, capability uplift, and adoption of new ways of working.
- Ensure high-quality delivery of project outputs, maintaining strong attention to execution discipline and measurable outcomes.
- Contribute to proposals and case development by providing relevant analysis and implementation insights.
- Codify transformation knowledge and assets emerging from casework and support onboarding and mentoring of junior colleagues.
Experience & skills
- 3+ years of consulting experience in operations, implementation, or transformation roles strongly preferred; alternatively, 4β10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven track record of translating strategy into execution and delivering measurable transformation outcomes.
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to build and assess business cases.
- Advanced analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
