Job description
A typical day for this Assistant Sales Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Business Bay moves between prospecting new leads and nurturing the client relationships already on the books. Research, outreach, and database mining all feed into generating and converting new business, with lead generation goals driving much of the daily rhythm. You serve as the primary contact for assigned market segments, developing new accounts while nurturing existing ones to grow room revenue and overall profitability. Hotel and market trends get analyzed regularly, feeding into business plans and marketing initiatives built to capture demand and hit sales goals. Proposals get prepared, site visits conducted, and terms negotiated across the full sales process, each contract tailored to what the client actually needs while still maximizing revenue for the hotel. Booking details need careful coordination too, covering room, food and beverage, and meeting space requirements for every group. Account and reservation information gets entered accurately and on time into the hotel's sales management system, keeping the whole operation running on reliable data. Guest experience sits behind all of it, since every deal closed eventually becomes a stay someone actually remembers.
