Job description
Al Tayer Insignia, the luxury retail division of Al Tayer Group, is hiring a Head of Brand Acquisitions and Concessions to drive its portfolio growth across fashion, jewellery, and home categories. The role focuses on sourcing and executing new franchise partnerships while overseeing concession partnerships across flagship department stores including Harvey Nichols Dubai and Bloomingdale’s in Dubai, Kuwait, and online. This is a highly strategic and visible role, requiring strong financial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage brand acquisition pipelines, P&L performance, and concession KPIs. The position will also involve leading commercial strategies, delivering premium in-store experiences, and ensuring brand partnerships are aligned with customer demand and the group’s long-term growth strategy.

Key responsibilities
- Source and identify new brand partnership opportunities across Fashion, Jewellery, and Home categories.
- Manage the brand acquisition pipeline, ensuring senior leadership is updated with clear communication.
- Oversee tailored brand development plans aligned with GCC opportunities and customer demand.
- Lead franchise agreement negotiations with Legal and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
- Oversee end-to-end onboarding of new franchise brands.
- Manage concession brands’ sales performance and KPIs across department stores and ecommerce.
- Provide performance reporting and highlight risks/opportunities weekly.
- Develop short- and long-term concession strategies aligned with customer trends and market insights.
- Coordinate 360° exposure plans including marketing campaigns, activations, and in-store experiences.
- Ensure premium service and store standards are maintained across concessions.
- Negotiate favorable contract terms in line with business objectives and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Operations, Projects, CRM, and Personal Shopping teams to support performance and growth.
- Develop strategic projects to enhance concession performance and align with ATI’s wider objectives.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 12 years of experience in retail buying or brand management within premium/luxury retail.
- Strong knowledge of global and regional fashion and retail trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior leadership exposure.
- Proven leadership experience with ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Strong financial acumen and P&L understanding.
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to handle complex franchise agreements.
- High-level networking skills with stakeholders and brand principals.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with ability to evaluate risks and opportunities.
- Proficiency in English; Italian, French, or Arabic is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
