Job description
The Lead / Principal Account Solution Engineer role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, within the sales organization and focuses on the telecommunications industry. Acting as an Account Solution Engineer, Presales Consultant, Sales Consultant, Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or SE, the role is a core contributor throughout the entire sales cycle, delivering thought leadership and owning end-to-end solution design to enhance customer experience. The position collaborates closely with sales teams and internal stakeholders to translate customer business objectives into compelling Salesforce-based recommendations and solutions. The role requires presenting Salesforce product offerings, addressing technical and business objections, and inspiring confidence in Salesforceās technology infrastructure while acting as a trusted advisor to customers throughout their digital and transformational journeys. The role involves developing innovative custom solutions, building and delivering tailored Salesforce demos, and presenting solution concepts to key decision-makers to demonstrate business value. It also includes responding to RFPs, leading the technical side of sales cycles, maintaining product and procedural certifications, and attaining quarterly and annual objectives. The role demands deep expertise in the Telco industry, hands-on Salesforce experience, fluency in Arabic and English, and experience delivering digital transformation strategies for enterprise customers. Occasional travel is required, and experience is evaluated based on alignment with core competencies, including leadership, consultancy, delivery, and training success in enterprise software environments.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with internal teams
- Understand customer needs and position Salesforce products as the optimal solution to address unique challenges
- Convey deep understanding of client industry and technology in relation to Salesforce solutions
- Develop innovative custom solutions and build and present customized Salesforce product demos to key decision-makers
- Deliver solution concepts that clearly demonstrate business value and address customer business issues
- Participate in product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to maintain required knowledge
- Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
- Respond efficiently and accurately to RFPs
- Lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle from discovery through solution presentation
- Support customers throughout their digital and transformational journeys as a trusted advisor
Experience & skills
- Strong background working within the telecommunications industry
- Hands-on, solid experience with Salesforce platforms and solutions
- Fluency in both Arabic and English
- Experience implementing digital transformation strategies for enterprise customers
- Proven track record in solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or training within an enterprise software organization
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as required
