The Business Development Manager, Cisco Security role at Logicom Distribution in Doha, Qatar is responsible for driving business development and sales of Cisco Security solutions through a network of channel partners. The role focuses on enabling and developing the channel ecosystem by training partners, supporting certifications and specializations, and strengthening their capability in Cisco Security offerings. The position is accountable for driving incremental security revenue and increasing market share through structured partner engagement, pipeline management, and sales execution. The Business Development Manager supports partners in solution design, presales activities, and techno-commercial responses to RFPs while ensuring alignment with Cisco Security product strategy. The role includes delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, trainings, and events such as exhibitions to promote Cisco Security solutions. The position requires close collaboration with partners to develop their Cisco Security practice based on agreed strategic plans, ensuring consistent execution of sales and marketing initiatives. The role owns the security sales targets and is responsible for proactively managing and driving the sales pipeline to achieve revenue objectives. Additionally, the role ensures internal teams within Logicom Distribution are updated on the latest Cisco Security solutions, programs, and promotions to maintain alignment across the organization. The position requires strong technical understanding of cybersecurity solutions, integration of multiple products into unified solutions, and experience in channel-driven sales environments. The role also benefits from prior experience in Cisco or competitive security solutions and industry certifications such as CCNP Security, with emphasis on building partner ecosystems and driving enterprise cybersecurity adoption.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and expand the Cisco Security channel partner ecosystem by enabling partners, supporting certifications, and strengthening their security solution capabilities
- Drive Cisco Security sales growth by managing and developing a structured sales pipeline and achieving assigned security revenue targets
- Support channel partners in solution design and presales activities including responding to RFPs with techno-commercial proposals
- Deliver Cisco Security product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and trainings during events, exhibitions, and partner engagements
- Work closely with partners to develop and execute Cisco Security practice development plans aligned with agreed business objectives
- Manage and support partner-led sales activities to ensure consistent execution of Cisco Security go-to-market strategy
- Ensure internal Logicom teams are updated on Cisco Security solutions, programs, and promotions to maintain organizational alignment
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to integrate multiple Cisco Security products into end-to-end cybersecurity solutions
Experience & skills
- Possess 3–5 years of experience in Cisco Security, presales, consulting, or related cybersecurity business development roles
- Hold a university degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical discipline
- Demonstrate strong understanding of technology sales and preferably experience in channel sales environments
- Demonstrate experience in supporting presales activities, solution design, and RFP response management
- Demonstrate ability to deliver technical presentations, product demos, and security solution workshops
- Demonstrate knowledge of Cisco Security solutions or competitive cybersecurity technologies
- Possess experience in resolving complex technical issues and integrating multiple security products into solutions
- Hold or demonstrate eligibility for Cisco certifications such as CCNP Security (preferred or advantageous)
