Job description
Vice President – Business Development role within a DIFC-based asset manager focused on regional real estate investments across multiple strategies. The position reports to the Head of Real Estate and is responsible for driving revenue growth, originating investment opportunities, and expanding institutional and private capital relationships across the GCC, with strong focus on UAE and Saudi Arabia markets. The role involves developing strategic business development plans, conducting market analysis, identifying value-driven opportunities, and building long-term relationships with developers, banks, advisors, and investment counterparties. The VP will lead negotiations for high-value real estate transactions, collaborate with internal teams to structure tailored investment solutions, and represent the firm at industry events and networking opportunities. The position requires strong commercial judgment, proven deal origination track record, and experience working within asset managers, private equity firms, developers, or investment platforms. The role also involves preparing presentations, investment proposals, and business cases for senior stakeholders while monitoring and reporting business development performance to leadership.

- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth across real estate investment opportunities within GCC markets
- Identify and originate new real estate investment opportunities across UAE and Saudi Arabia markets
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, banks, advisors, institutional investors, and key investment counterparties
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks within real estate investment sectors
- Lead negotiations and execution of high-value real estate transactions and partnerships
- Collaborate with internal investment and asset management teams to structure tailored investment solutions
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand brand presence
- Prepare and deliver investment presentations, proposals, and business cases to senior leadership and prospective investors
Experience & skills
- Possess 9–12 years of experience in real estate business development, investments, or acquisitions within the GCC region
- Hold Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or related discipline
- Demonstrate proven track record of originating real estate deals within UAE and exposure to Saudi Arabia markets
- Maintain strong professional network across developers, advisors, banks, and investment counterparties
- Exhibit strong commercial judgment and ability to identify value-add investment opportunities
- Demonstrate excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Show experience working with asset managers, private equity firms, developers, or investment platforms
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
