The Senior Sales Manager (Middle East and GCC Market) at Jumeirah Beach Hotel is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts across GCC, Turkey, and South Africa, traveling to these countries to attend events, sales calls, and exhibitions. The role entails meeting sales and marketing targets for designated accounts, developing new markets and segments, and executing strategic plans aligned with the luxury hospitality brand's goals. The manager builds and nurtures key partner relationships to maximize performance within the leisure and consortia segments. Responsibilities include continuous competitor analysis, sourcing new business via research, local media, and government intelligence, and maintaining accurate account histories in Salesforce. The role operates within Jumeirah Beach Hotel, a premier luxury property known for its beachfront location, extensive leisure and wellness facilities, and award-winning dining options. The position demands strong sales acumen, bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic, and experience in international hospitality sales environments. - Manage portfolio of GCC, Turkey, and South Africa accounts, including travel to these regions for events, sales calls, and exhibitions
- Meet sales targets for designated accounts and expand into new markets and segments through strategic sales and marketing plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to achieve strategic objectives within the leisure and consortia segment
- Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to management, ensuring appropriate market responses
- Continuously research local media, government, and market intelligence to source new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date profiles and histories of all accounts within Salesforce CRM
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 2 years of sales and marketing experience with an international hospitality company or recognized blue-chip organization
- Demonstrated knowledge of assigned markets within the GCC, Turkey, and South Africa
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (read, write, speak)
- Proven sales skills with a record of influencing clients to achieve higher revenue generation
- Ability to execute sales and marketing strategies and manage CRM systems effectively
