Job description
The Manager – Cloud Solutions and Integration at Julphar is responsible for managing IT cloud infrastructure, solutions, and integrations across Microsoft, SAP S/4HANA, AWS, and other platforms. The role involves planning, coordinating, and maintaining Julphar’s cloud infrastructure to ensure availability, compliance, reliability, and security. This includes designing cloud-based solutions, managing operations, ensuring GxP compliance, overseeing backups and restorations, and handling audits. The manager will also provide strategic guidance for future IT cloud needs, budgets, and enterprise initiatives while staying updated with emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities
- Manage all existing cloud solutions with high compliance, availability, and security.
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions for compute, storage, network, and security.
- Provide technical leadership in defining and implementing cloud architecture and best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams for cloud-based solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including HIPAA and FDA.
- Manage cloud-based services and resources, including monitoring, scaling, and optimizing performance and costs.
- Track the benefits of cloud migrations and report them to senior leadership.
- Plan and facilitate IT security reviews for applications identified for cloud migration.
- Design and monitor Key Cloud service delivery models and IT standards.
- Ensure compliance with IT service delivery framework, policies, and procedures across vendors and users.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align cloud services with strategy and ensure proper procurement.
- Ensure cloud services include relevant customer training and comply with regulatory/legal requirements.
- Provide leadership in vendor negotiations and team development.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, 8+ years in cloud computing, networking, and security.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud-based security, compliance, and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant industry certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect) are a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, VMWare, Azure, AWS, Docker.
- Understanding of networking technologies and trends.
- Knowledge of GXP cloud infrastructure platforms and assessment.
- Desirable: Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and ITIL V4 process flow.
