Job description
Instrument Index, I/O Lists, Cause & Effect diagrams, datasheets, hook-ups, loop drawings and control system architecture drawings all pass through this Senior I&C Engineer for review and approval on Worley's ADNOC offshore work in Abu Dhabi. FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC and PMC phases are covered, with the focus firmly on engineering rather than construction. ADNOC standards, IEC, ISA and API codes set the compliance bar. DCS, ESD, F&G, SCADA and PLC engineering documents need review, alongside SIL classification, alarm management and cybersecurity requirements. Package vendors are coordinated on I&C requirements, and technical bid evaluations support vendor selection. EPC contractor progress and quality are monitored, with HAZOP, SIL and design review workshops attended along the way. Telecom, electrical, process and mechanical disciplines interface with you on shared scope. Site support is occasional, covering technical queries, deviations and commissioning help when required. Candidates need an engineering degree, 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals with 3 in a similar role on major projects, Offshore and FEED/EPC experience, and familiarity with SPI, Aveva and AutoCAD.
