Key responsibilities

• Delivers a high standard of evidence-based care to patients at KCH.
• Adhere to the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) guidelines, as well as all clinical guidelines and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage patients requiring level 3 critical care including advanced airway management, ventilation, invasive lines, inotropic support, and CVVHDF.
• Manage critical emergencies and interpret blood gases.
• Adhere to infection control principles.
• Maintain competencies in cardiac arrest management (BLS and ACLS).
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care continuously.
• Provide clear, sensitive updates to patients and families.
• Uphold high care standards in all departments based on policy and evidence-based practices.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and respect patient rights including cultural and religious beliefs.
• Educate and support patients, caregivers, and families regarding care and healthy lifestyles.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care delivery.
• Communicate patient condition and needs effectively to the MDT.
• Work flexibly to maintain safe staffing levels or pursue professional development.
• Participate in nursing audits and adverse incident reporting.
• Maintain accurate and legible patient health records as per hospital policy.
