Job description
The Senior Business Analyst (Dynamics 365 CRM) role is an onsite position in Abu Dhabi within the BCM Industry focused on enterprise CRM implementation and optimization. The position requires direct collaboration with business stakeholders including M&A, Human Resources, and enterprise users to identify CRM needs, document challenges, and align system capabilities with organizational objectives. The role involves conducting target state design requirement meetings to ensure that Dynamics 365 CRM functionality supports business goals, translating business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria suitable for agile delivery, and working closely with technical teams and external vendors to design and configure Dynamics 365 modules and enhancements. The position supports testing activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and defect tracking, while ensuring smooth CRM integrations with enterprise tools such as Outlook, SharePoint, and LinkedIn. The role requires maintaining high-quality documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), and process flows, and acting as a liaison between technical teams, vendors, and business units to ensure alignment across stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include delivering user training sessions, demo presentations, and supporting system adoption initiatives throughout the organization. The analyst also contributes to data management and governance by working with the EDP team to ensure data accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with privacy and governance policies, and by leading or supporting data migration, data cleansing, and data transformation activities within Dynamics 365. Continuous improvement is an important aspect of the role, requiring analysis of CRM usage, user feedback, and KPIs to recommend process and system enhancements while staying current with Dynamics 365 updates, platform releases, and new Microsoft features across the Microsoft ecosystem and Azure ecosystem to drive ongoing CRM innovation and enterprise solution effectiveness.

Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders from M&A, Human Resources, and enterprise users to gather, analyze, and document CRM business requirements and operational challenges while translating them into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for agile delivery.
- Conduct target state design requirement meetings and align Dynamics 365 CRM functionality with business objectives by working with technical teams and vendors to design and configure Dynamics 365 modules and system enhancements.
- Support and coordinate testing activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, validation, and defect tracking to ensure successful implementation of CRM solutions.
- Ensure seamless CRM integrations with enterprise platforms including Outlook, SharePoint, and LinkedIn to maintain connected business workflows and unified enterprise data access.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), and process flows while serving as the liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors.
- Deliver user training sessions, product demonstrations, and adoption support initiatives to drive effective usage of Dynamics 365 CRM across the organization.
- Support enterprise data governance initiatives by collaborating with the EDP team to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with privacy and governance policies within CRM systems.
- Lead or support data migration, data cleansing, and data transformation activities in Dynamics 365 to ensure reliable data structures and successful system transitions.
- Analyze CRM usage metrics, user feedback, and KPIs to recommend improvements to CRM processes, workflows, and system capabilities while incorporating new Dynamics 365 platform updates and Microsoft feature releases.
Experience & skills
- Obtain a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrate 3-5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on Dynamics 365 CRM modules and enterprise CRM implementations.
- Exhibit deep understanding of CRM processes including opportunity tracking and custom workflows within Dynamics 365 CRM environments.
- Document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), and process flows for enterprise CRM solutions.
- Work within the Microsoft ecosystem including familiarity with Azure ecosystem technologies and integrations with Outlook, SharePoint, and LinkedIn.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), CRM configuration validation, and coordination with technical teams and vendors during CRM implementation cycles.
- Maintain CRM data governance through involvement in data migration, data cleansing, and data transformation initiatives within Dynamics 365 environments.
- Hold or pursue Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM) or Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant certification.
