Job description
FMCG and Food and Beverage categories make up the buying portfolio for this UAE-based procurement position, and sourcing strategies for both are yours to build and run. Supplier contracts are negotiated for favourable pricing and terms, and supplier performance is evaluated and improved over time. Daily procurement runs through ERP modules. Inventory levels and forecasts are tracked closely, with logistics coordinated so deliveries arrive on time. Cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement programmes are expected to deliver measurable savings. Supply chain, finance and operations teams are regular partners. Procurement reports, KPIs and analysis go to senior management. This is a contract role, and eligibility to work in the UAE is required. Five to seven years in procurement or purchasing, ideally in FMCG or F&B, is needed, with CIPS or CPSM, international sourcing experience and Arabic preferred.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for FMCG and Food and Beverage categories
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to secure favourable terms and pricing
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements
- Run daily procurement operations through ERP modules
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast requirements
- Coordinate with logistics to deliver goods on time
- Implement cost reduction and continuous improvement programmes
- Collaborate with supply chain, finance and operations teams
- Maintain compliance with company policy, regulations and ethical standards
- Present procurement reports, KPIs and analysis to senior management
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Bring 5 to 7 years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally in FMCG or Food and Beverage
- Demonstrate expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Use ERP procurement modules proficiently
- Show experience in inventory management and demand forecasting
- Prove a record of cost reduction and savings delivery
- Hold eligibility to work in the UAE
- Offer CIPS or CPSM certification, international sourcing experience and Arabic, which are preferred
