Job description
The Senior Government Relations Officer at talabat in Dubai is responsible for managing and coordinating the company’s interactions with governmental authorities throughout the full lifecycle of corporate and operational compliance. This includes handling projects from incorporation to licensing stages, providing management with conditions and requirements of relevant authorities including Ministry of Commerce, DED, Municipality, and MOH. The role entails coordination with the Ministry of Interior on matters related to drivers, investigations, and attending hearings on behalf of the company. Responsibilities extend to renewing official company documents including trade license, chamber of commerce registration, import license, municipality license, issuing staff health certificates, liaising with marketing departments for campaign licenses, clearance of shipments at customs, and adding new business activities or branch licenses with all necessary approvals. The officer handles customer complaints filed at the Consumer Protection Authority, attests contracts before the Ministry of Justice, coordinates with sponsors/authorized signatories, manages document attestation with ministries and embassies, obtains approvals for CSR initiatives, keeps the legal department updated on procedural changes, manages violations from government authorities, and oversees trademark and logo registration for campaigns. The position requires strong time management, organizational, and customer service skills, as well as fluency in Arabic and English and proficiency in Excel.

- Carry out procedures for adding new business activities and obtaining approvals for new branches, licenses, and training
- Handle customer complaints with the Consumer Protection Authority and provide support for amicable resolution
- Attest contracts and documents before the Ministry of Justice, ministries, and embassies
- Coordinate approvals for CSR initiatives and maintain updates on governmental procedural changes
- Pay, reconcile, or resolve violations from ministries such as traffic, municipality, and food authorities
- Manage trademark registration, renewal, and company logo protection for campaigns and advertising
