Job description
Manage a set of Small Enterprise (SE) relationships and originate new SE relationships around branch communities, owning the end-to-end relationship lifecycle across borrowers, transactors, and depositors to achieve assigned financial and non-financial objectives. Act as primary banker to improve share of wallet and become the primary bank by cross-selling the complete range of banking products, delivering superior customer service, and assuming complete ownership of relationship management. Conduct annual/periodic credit facility reviews in line with bank credit policy, recommend appropriate facilities to maximize earnings while controlling risk, follow up to ensure satisfactory account conduct, and identify candidates for downgrades/upgrades. Implement and maintain control aspects including documentation, periodical client visits and call reports, stock inspections, and formal credit checks plus informal market feedback to effectively monitor the assigned portfolio and maintain acceptable portfolio quality. Screen the market for NTB opportunities from walk-ins and local business communities, manage seamless takeover of new relationships originated by DS and relationships downgraded by ME using defined onboarding procedures, and constantly identify opportunities to upgrade SE customers to the ME segment through needs profiling and tailored solutions. Liaise with internal and external advisors for precision in agreements; collaborate with Risk Management, branch management, regional SE management, and enabler units; update management regularly for better sales and relationship controls; develop the on-the-job learning curve of SSO staff; ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory policies (KYC/AML, due diligence); and drive both revenue and service quality outcomes against KPIs and targets.
